Title: Historical Notices of the Parish of Holbeach by Rev G.W. Macdonald

Summary: Historical Notices of the Parish of Holbeach (1890) by Rev G.W. Macdonald is a detailed local history of the parish of Holbeach in Lincolnshire, covering its development from the medieval period to the late nineteenth century. The book combines parish history, church history, genealogy, and biographical accounts of local clergy.

The book is regarded as one of the principal nineteenth-century histories of Holbeach and remains a frequently cited source in later studies of the parish and its church. It preserves information from records and monuments that have since changed or disappeared, making it valuable for historians of Lincolnshire, local researchers, and family historians.
