VINTAGESTAN BOOKS Title: Inter-City 125 High Speed Train by 125 Group. Haynes Owners Workshop Manual Summary: The Inter-City 125 High Speed Train (HST) is one of Britain's most iconic diesel-powered trains, introduced by British Rail in the 1970s. Designed to run at 125 mph (201 km/h), each train consists of two Class 43 power cars with a rake of Mark 3 coaches between them. Built between 1975 and 1982, the HST transformed long-distance rail travel by reducing journey times, improving reliability, and attracting large numbers of passengers.
