VINTAGESTAN BOOKS

Title: McDonnell Douglas FA 18 Hornet and Super Hornet 1978 onwards by Steve Davies. Haynes Owners Workshop Manual

Summary: Davies's book is essentially a technical and operational history of how the F/A-18 evolved from the YF-17-derived Hornet of 1978 into the much larger and more capable Super Hornet, illustrated through aircraft engineering, combat systems, pilot experiences and maintenance.

The book is 172 pages with more than 270 colour photographs and technical drawings, so it is particularly useful if you're interested in the details of the aircraft rather than just its combat history
