VINTAGESTAN BOOKS

Title: The Designs of William de Morgan by Martin Greenwood

Summary: The book serves primarily as a comprehensive visual and archival record of De Morgan’s designs, especially those held in the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was published to accompany a major exhibition of his work. Rather than a narrative biography, it functions as a catalogue raisonné, systematically documenting hundreds of designs with illustrations and references. It’s a richly illustrated catalogue that documents and analyses the full range of William De Morgan’s decorative designs, emphasizing his role as a key Arts and Crafts ceramic artist.
