Title: The Pocket Book of Anchoring by Captain Michael Lloyd FNI

Summary: The Pocket Book of Anchoring is a practical, pocket-sized maritime guide focused on the principles and best practices of anchoring a vessel safely and effectively. Written by Captain Michael Lloyd FNI and published by Witherby Seamanship International, it’s aimed at mariners from officers to shipmasters who need a reliable, accessible reference on anchoring techniques and seamanship.

Rather than being a theoretical textbook, the guide prioritises practical seamanship, common problems encountered in anchoring, and their solutions helping readers choose the correct anchor setup and apply best practices across different situations at sea.
