Title: The Renaissance and Reformation in Scotland

Summary: This book makes a notable contribution to the understanding of the history of sixteenth-century Scotland. Renewed interest in this period of Scottish history is largely due to the pioneering scholarship of Professor Gordon Donaldson. This book mirrors his wide range of interests in the renaissance and Reformation era, and includes appreciations of his influence as a teacher and research scholar. The contributions cover a range of topics of ecclesiastical, political and social interest, which in turn are generally related to the impact of the Renaissance and Reformation in Scotland.
