VINTAGESTAN BOOKS

Title: The Undiscovered Country. The Earlier Prehistory of the West Midlands. The Making of the West Midlands Volume 1

Summary: This book explores the earliest human history of the West Midlands, covering the vast span of time before written records. From the first human presence in the region up to the start of the Iron Age. The book shows that the West Midlands has a deep and complex human past, far older than most people realize. Even without written history, archaeology reveals a story of adaptation, innovation, and gradual social change over thousands of years.
