Title: The Yacht Navigators Handbook by Norman Dahl

Summary: The book explains how a yacht navigator can determine and maintain a vessel's position and plan a safe passage. Its central message is that navigation is never perfectly precise: tides, weather, instruments, charts, steering errors, and other uncertainties all affect the calculated position. Dahl argues that good navigation means understanding and managing these errors rather than assuming that a plotted position is absolutely correct.
